PAYDAY HAUL PART II - (River Island, Boots, Topshop, Missguided etc.)

So I might've been naughty and spent some more pennies on more lovely things but heyho you can't take it with you can you!? Anyway let's commence with the haul and all...

RIVER ISLAND

Ahh I am in love with these patent cut-out boots. They are so chunky and clunky (kinda remind me of some shoes in the movie Clueless) and they were so damn hard to get my hands on. Originally they'd sold out online so I checked in all my local RI stores to no avail...so when I saw they were back online I snapped them up instantly. They do have this style in a matte black too if shiny shiny ain't your thing. I think they are pretty good Coltrane dupes and for a fraction of the price - bonus!

SO IN FASHION

You might of seen this dress featured in my latest OOTD here. It is a loose skater-style fit tartan mini-dress and I think it might just be one of my favourite things I own. It's quite a lightweight jersey material but really good quality. They have this dress in a blue tartan too.

ASOS

So PU and look-alike leather is all in for this A/W so I thought I'd pick myself up something now plus at the time ASOS were having a 20% new season flash sale. I know it looks quite a simple piece but I thought this will just be so versatile to put under sheer shirts or layer over t-shirts or even to wear with something highwaisted. I've got so many outfit ideas for this which I'm pretty excited about.

BOOTS

I only popped into Boots quickly just to pick up this white polish which I've been meaning to grab for a while now and Boots had a buy one get one half price offer on Barry M so I picked up this really pretty pastel blue up too.

MISS SELFRIDGE

DUNGAREE SHORTS - £20 (sale)

I bought this a while ago offline but I kept forgetting to include it in hauls but I've finally remembered. I bought this because I just fell in love with the embroidery detail, thing is this was only available as a petite exclusive which means I had to do quite a bit of alteration to get it to fit (y'know because petite sizing is usually for females 5"4 and under whereas I'm almost 5"7 - clever Amy.) I think this will be more of an A/W piece styled with tights because they are very short on me!

H&M

RING - £2.99

Now I just love dinosaur jewellery so when I saw this little ring in H&M well...it just had to be mine!

PRIMARK

HEELS - £14

So after buying Primark's strappy heeled sandals I fell in love with this sort of style of shoe and my lovely Granny kindly purchased these for me because she thought they were so very divine too! I love the monochrome (although the white could be risky on nights out!) and I adore the thick strap, I just think they look so not Primark-y...in fact I saw a similar pair in River Island for £70!

TOPSHOP

I am a little bit obsessed with midi rings I just find they look so dainty and delicate so I nipped into Topshop to get a couple because I saw they had such lovely designs on their website. I think they had both styles in both gold and silver.

MISSGUIDED

DRESS - £9.94 (inc. p&p)

Missguided have some really cool stuff in at the moment and I am so super excited for new season launches. I picked this simple black cut out detail skater dress in their sale just because I thought it will come in very handy over the next few months as a LBD, and it was such a bargain!

Okay so I think that's it fashion shopping-wise this month (well maybe) as all the shopping I'll now be doing will be in preparing for Uni in a few weeks (well that swung by quick!). I'm thinking of doing a University preparation post soon actually so stick around if you're interested in such things!

As always I hope you are all very well and if you haven't already then please remember to follow me on bloglovin here!

COLLECTIVE PAYDAY HAUL (Primark, Topshop, Miss Selfridge)

So it was that time of the month again when I get lots of lovely money for all my hard work and I can go shopping! Shopping makes me happy, I genuinely get a release of endorphin's when I purchase something - how materialistic Amy! There is quite a lot of Primark again so I'll show you that first...

PRIMARK

NEON SATCHEL - £9

OMFG I am in love with this sublime satchel. It was the only one left and I spotted it from afar (well from the knitwear section) and I left my mother in mid-sentence to race a ten year old girl who had spotted it too (in my mind it was slow motion), I grabbed it triumphantly and shoved it in my basket. I have wanted a neon satchel for so long so as you can imagine I was just a tad delighted when I found one in Primark, and for just £9 - bargain!

T-SHIRT - £1

Okay so this is a man's t-shirt but I find the men's t-shirts in Primark to be so damn comfortable just for lazing around the house or taking the dog for a walk. I really like the design on this one too, it looks like a retro tourist tee.

RUCKSACK - £5

Bargain alert! This is just the perfect throw everything in and go kind of bag and I thought it'd come in really handy for when I start university in September. It'd be really cool for festivals too (fingers crossed I get to go to some next year!)

NAIL ART - £2

I found this in the beauty section and I was quite pleased to find this when all the other nail art pens I've seen are £5 and over. I haven't actually tried it out yet but it's basically a black and a nail art pen and some sequins to embellish your nails with.

FISHNET TIGHTS - £1 / EXFOLIATING GLOVES - £1

I bought these fishnets to make some more DIY shorts for under hotpants and mini-skirts as I cut my last pair a little uneven (that's impatience for you). I needed some new exfoliating gloves so I thought I'd give these Primark ones a whirl - after all they are only a pound!

CARDIGAN - £13

They have this lovely fluffy cardi in black and black & white striped too but since I already have a similar black one I went for this soft pink one. It's really cosy so perfect for A/W! I sized up with this one just because I like a looser fit with my knitwear.

EARRING SET - £2 / RING - £1.50

Oh I love these earrings so much - especially the yin-yang ones, I always wear odd earrings in both of my lope piercings so I love these Primark sets for the choice plus you get nine pairs for £2! The ring is cool too, I liked it because it looks like a spring, they also had it in silver too.

FLATS - £3 (sale) / HEELS - £10 (sale)

I already have these flats in a cream colour and I have been meaning to repurchase them in the black so I was pretty pleased when I looked around the shoe department and found them for just £3 down from £8! They are so comfy and have never given me any blisters so I would definitely recommend them if you find them (I'm pretty sure there was a tan version too).  OHMYGOD do I love these heels, I have wanted this kind of strappy sandal affair for ages but since I barely wear heels I thought it'd be a waste of money but when I found some for just £10 - well I couldn't resist. I think they are really good dupes of the Zara ones. I have worn them twice so far and they are really comfy and easy to walk in. They have a really gorgeous monochrome pair in Primark at the moment which I will be purchasing next time I'm in.

MISS SELFRIDGE

RING SET -£2.50 / BRACELET - £2.50

I picked these up in Miss Selfridge's sale. I absoloutley adore turquoise jewellery so I just had to buy the ring set, they look really delicate on and they are a great addiction to my ring collection. This bracelet is just so pretty, I love the black glass beads and the dainty gold cross.

TOPSHOP

I bought more jewellery but I just couldn't leave these gems behind when I found them in Topshop.

 RING - £3.25 / NECKLACE - £5.50

The ring is a really pretty teal colour with black glass beads around it and in the shape of a cross in the middle. I think it looks a bit like an antique ring and everytime I have worn it so far I can't help but not be mesmerized by it.

This necklace is just so beautiful on, it sit just on the collarbone and looks really flattering.  It looks expensive but the spike detail gives it a bit of edge. I think it looks really gorgeous with plain black tops or dresses and I will definitely be getting so much wear out of this!

Okay so that's it for this haul but I do have another one planned soon which will feature some eBay, some Missguided and a little ASOS, so look out for that post in the near future!

As always I hope you are all well and if you haven't already then please follow me on bloglovin here!

WEDNESDAY WISHLIST #2

Well it's been very warm today so I thought I'd do a quick summer wishlist, to banish those midweek blues I've been having over having to work when it's oh so lovely outside.

I'm really into monochrome patterns lately and I think that might show with this wishlist. You may also be able to tell that I'm liking H&M lately but I'm gutted the Aztec playsuit is sold out in my size online - damn. I am seriously considering splurging on my first ever Mac product because Candy Yum Yum is probably the brightest hue of pink I have ever seen; so it's the perfect colour to brighten up all my monochrome! I really like the Topshop tassle bikini but I can't justify buying it because my holiday destination this year is the Lake District and I don't imagine that a teeny tiny bikini would be too appropriate. The Miss Selfridge dotty monochrome maxi skirt is just too pretty but unfortunately it's sold out; still I'm hoping I will find an alternative to it online. I've never bought anything from Rock'n'Rose but after seeing both the ring and chain on Polyvore I am seriously tempted! I have been eying up the River Island faded skater skirt, it's just so pretty for the summer - in fact I reckon that it would look pretty cool paired with the H&M bralet and kimono.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WISHING FOR THIS WEEK?

COLLECTIVE JUNE HAUL! (PRIMARK, H&M, NEW LOOK)

I got paid last Friday which could only mean one thing, right? - big arse shopping trip! Oh yes! I really went for the monochrome vibe with my purchases this time but monochrome is timeless, so I figure my purchases are a good investment, as come September I will be living on a student budget. Commence with the haul!

PRIMARK

DRESS - £7 (SALE)

I can't believe I found this for £7! Especially when I was gonna pay £15 a few weeks ago for it. This dress is such good quality for Primark plus it is the perfect fit, it's a really thick cotton and then the pattern is textured. I saw similar styles and prints to this in both Topshop and Miss Selfridge so for £7 you really can't beat it!

SWING CAMI - £5

This is perfect for the summer, it is so simple but so pretty. The back is sheer chiffon with a large keyhole detail. It's really loose and floaty, I will be wearing this with a bralet because it is very sheer.

SHORTS - £4

They had this style in a variety of patterns but I went for the timeless monochrome dots just because I can style them with more things. They are really lightweight and will be great for casual everyday wear in the summer.

CAMO T-SHIRT - £4

Yes this a man's shirt but I prefer the prints on men's t-shirts in Primark. I only really put this in my basket because it's pretty decent quality for the price and I don't own anything camouflage so I just had to grab it.

COTTON CUT-OUT CROP - £5

I love every damn thing about this top. I love the print. I love the monochrome. I love the lightweight material. I love the cute little buttons on the front. I love that it is a crop (sits just on the belly button). I love the cut out at the back. I just plain old love this top and at £5 it was a bargain!

SKINNY TROUSERS - £5 (SALE)

My mum found me these trousers in a sale rack and I am so glad she did! Black trousers are a wardrobe staple. They have a really gorgeous jacquard print on them which my camera unfortunately didn't pick up very well.

BEAD & CROSS NECKLACE - £2.50

This necklace is quite similar to styles I have seen previously in Topshop. It reminds me a bit of rosary beads. They had it in a neon pink version too which I personally felt was a bit too Mardi-Gras

TIGHTS - £1.50 EACH

Just some basic tights.

EARRING SET - £1.50

I bought these to wear at work just because they are small enough to go unnoticed. They are really dainty and girly. You get nine pairs of earrings in the set which works out to be just over 16p per pair!

CAT EYE SUNGLASSES - £2 / MINT SUNGLASSES - £1

Oops did more sunglasses 'accidently' fall into my basket? I just can't resist buying a pair (or in this case two) whenever I'm in Primark! I've been after some cat eye sunglasses for ages but I just didn't want to pay Topshop / Urban Outfitters prices because I'd end up breaking them or loosing them; so I had to get them for £2!

NEW LOOK

DRESS - £6 (SALE)

I found this in a discount New Look store. There is so much stuff! Anyway I found this little pretty thing and I could not resist! It is a really beautiful raspberry colour with a kind of waffle texture. I really like the drop skirt on this dress and I can't wait to get a tan because I think that will be the best accessory for this dress!

BANK

JERSEY SKATER DRESS - £8 (SALE)

This was my first ever purchase from Bank, they had a sale on and I picked this out. I am so happy with this dress because it is exactly what I have been looking for. It's a really soft jersey fabric and the fit is perfect. This will be great in the summer with flats and bare legs but it will be equally as great in the winter with tights and boots.

MISS SELFRIDGE

SKINNY JEANS - £16 (SALE)

These are like heaven to wear. I have never ever quite found the perfect fit of jeans for me until now! They are a really dark indigo and super skinny but super comfy. I bought these with my waitress tips from the last three weeks and I did have enough for the Topshop Leigh jeans but I tried these on a whim and I fell in love. They were in the sale at £20 but Miss Selfridge were having a 20% off sale items so I got them for £16! Bargain!

BAG - £16 (SALE)

I bought this with some more of my tip money. I just couldn't leave it on the shelf! Mainly because it reminds me of a raspberry in both colour and texture. All my other bags are mainly black so it is kinda nice to get something a bit more colourful. This was down from £39.99 to £20 in the sale but the 20% off meant I got it for £16!

H&M

DOTTY CIRCLE SKIRT - £7.99

Back to the monochrome. Ahh this skirt makes me feel so happy and I've got so many ideas on styling options in my head (should I get so excited over clothes?). It's a really thick fabric but with a slight bit of stretch to it so it isn't too rigid, I think for the quality and design it is an excellent price!

JERSEY T-SHIRT - £3.99

Just a basic grey marl jersey tee. I like H&M t-shirts because you get really good quality for the price. Plus you can wear a t-shirt like this with practically anything.

Okay so that's all folks. I bought quite a lot for summer and quite a lot of monochrome. Hope you enjoyed my haul; I really like haul posts myself for a bit of inspiration.

love amy xx
