So I've not blogged anything for a while. I was lacking in the motivational department so I'm pleased I am finally back to it! This post is a trio of OOTD's from back when I still had a blue dip dye. I felt like a hair makeover so I've since said bye-bye to BLEACH London's 'Washed Out Mermaid' (I'll be doing a post on my new hair colour in the very very near future!).

OOTD: the sky all pastel shades

So this OOTD isn't entirely black this time but it is Christmastime so I thought I'd make a bit of an effort! I saw this corduroy pinafore dress on a girl when I was doing a street style project for my course and I liked it instantly so I was pretty pleased when I saw it in Primark and only about £12!

I fell in love with this t-shirt when I saw the gorgeous Cara Delevigne wearing it but I couldn't track it down anywhere in the UK and then when I was browsing through the Asos sale the other day I found it! Reduced from £30 down to £9.....yes please! I'm not normally a fan of statement tees but I couldn't resist the cheeky text on this one and look at the cute baby animals.

OOTD: in your big house on the hills.

So this OOTD was from last weekend. I didn't really go anywhere so I just though on something comfy and warm. I'm now at University! Which is odd but everything is so exciting and everyone on my floor is lovely and I think I'm really gonna like living here. Since it's fresher's week I am still a little bit exhausted from the night before so I thought I'd do a post whilst I'm chilling in my room before going out later again. It's weird because before I came here I never really liked going out but I have enjoyed myself every night so far but I think that is because I've found people with similar interests.

OOTD: i'm the last cowboy in this town.

So this outfit looks quite 'city-sophisticated' (even though I'm in a field) but my messy waves and clunky cut out boots add an element of grunge. This is another almost all black outfit but there are quite a few textures so it's okay. By the way I am sorry for the creased quality of the skorts and jacket but they were both brand new out of the bag!

 I absolutely love this coat from Primark! The sleeves give a nod to the faux-leather trend and the gold hardware gives it a bit of edge....plus it's really warm.

OOTD: sorta feels like I'm running out of time.

So last weekend  I went to the seaside and even though the clouds were grey and the tide was almost in the weather was quite pleasant...so I figured I'd do some OOTD photographs. I'm wearing full black apart from my bag

I know some might find the black roses a little bit 'gothy' but I think they're pretty...plus black goes with everything.

OOTD: been wondering if your heart's still open.

So last Friday it got cold and it rained and the weather was just an all round misery guts (didn't stop a shopping trip though!) so I had to dress for the cold; something I'm not used to after having such a pleasant few months of warmth. I like A/W fashion though, I like cosy knits and tights and boots so it was quite enjoyable styling an outfit suitable for such a climate...
